This Acceptable Use Policy describes activities that are not permitted when using PocketESign.
1. Illegal, fraudulent or deceptive use
You may not use PocketESign to violate law, facilitate fraud, forge or fabricate signatures, impersonate another person, alter documents deceptively, obtain signatures by misrepresentation or create a false audit record.
2. Unauthorized or abusive signing requests
You may not send signing requests to people when you lack a legitimate reason or authority to contact them. Signing invitations must not be used for unsolicited advertising, bulk marketing, harassment, phishing or repeated unwanted communications.
3. Rights in documents and data
You may upload only documents and personal information you are authorized to use. You may not use PocketESign to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, publicity or other rights.
4. Unsupported high-risk uses
Unless PocketESign expressly states that the required specialized functionality is supported, do not use the service for wills or testamentary trusts, family-law documents, official court documents, notarized or sworn transactions, highly regulated identity workflows, or other transactions that require legal formalities beyond the ordinary PocketESign workflow.
5. Security
You may not probe, scan or test the service for vulnerabilities without written authorization; bypass access controls; interfere with the service; upload malicious code; abuse rate limits; scrape signer information; or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, documents or infrastructure.
6. Harmful content
You may not use the service for content or transactions that exploit children, facilitate violence or criminal activity, distribute malware, unlawfully disclose sensitive personal information or otherwise create material harm.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may restrict, suspend or terminate access, preserve evidence, remove content or cooperate with lawful requests where reasonably necessary. Serious or repeated abuse may result in permanent loss of access.
